This picture doesn't doo the quilt justice, but hope everyone gets the idea. I did the kites using the foundation paper piecing method. The kites in the corner are also paper pieced Then I added the checkerboard border using 1 inch squares. I am giving this one to my 5 yearold grandson. I'm looking for fabric with kites on it but I could pp instead.
